My mother’s love was intrinsically linked to food. She was not a physically affectionate person. As I pack my daughter’s lunch for school, I realise that love comes in many forms - some of them served hot on a bright red table mat.
Stalemate
When you have been with a partner long enough, you know that no one wins in a fight. We both lose or it's a stalemate.
The year that was. The year that will be.
An ode to a year well lived, with its storms and calm waters.
The second kind of Love

The woman looking at me is beautiful; wild and free with a spirit that does not worry or care of what other people think.
The In-Betweens

Sleepless IV
